Archbishop Daniel (Zelinsky) of the UOC of the United States has traveled about 9,415 kilometers in the last two days (from Los Alamos, New Mexico, to Krasnobrod, Poland) to help and support Ukrainians in Poland.

He announced this on his Facebook page, the Spiritual Front of Ukraine informs.

39 pupils live in the house visited by the bishop, 4 Guardians – Veronika Mikhayletska, Olya Chub, Anya Chub and Elena Bobik (with their minor children) – were evacuated from the Znamensky boarding school due to Russia's military aggression against the people of Ukraine.

The Archbishop of the Ecumenical Patriarchate conveyed help from the laity and clergy of the UOC-USA and thanked them for their humanity. Thanks to their sacrifice, children will be able to experience the joy of the feast of St. Nicholas and the Nativity of Christ, the hierarch noted.

The UOC of the United States constantly sends humanitarian aid to the southern and eastern regions of Ukraine.
