The Head of the OCU briefs Vatican’s journalists on inter-church relations

On December 9, Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All-Ukraine met at his residence, the Metropolitan house, with the Vatican delegation: accredited journalists who are on a visit to Ukraine.

This is reported by the press service of the Kyiv Metropolia of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (OCU).

The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Vatican, Andriy Yurash and Deputy Head of the Department for External Church Relations of the OCU, Archbishop Yevstratiy of Chernihiv.

During the conversation, they discussed the challenge of a full-scale war waged by Russia and comprehensive coverage of acts of genocide of the Ukrainian people, interstate and inter-church relations aimed at strengthening support for Ukraine from the international community.

The Primate of the OCU answered questions asked by foreign guests.
