The destruction of the Kahovka Hydroelectric Power Station dam by the occupiers, the flooding of populated areas, and state terrorism are the fruits of the anti-human ideology of the "Russian world."
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"The flooding downstream of the Dnieper, the mortal danger to hundreds of thousands of people living in the flood-affected zone following the act of Russian state terrorism on the Kahovka dam, the long-term danger to the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant due to the disruption of the normal cooling cycle of the reactors – all these are the fruits of the anti-Christ, anti-human ideology of the 'Russian world,' which is ready to sacrifice everything to the Moloch of the Kremlin empire without regard for the consequences," the Primate noted.
"For the suffering, bloodshed, and death of the innocent, curses and eternal condemnation await the Kremlin tyrant and all those who carry out his criminal orders. I offer prayers to God for the protection of those currently in danger and call on all believers to join in this prayer!" the Primate of the OCU emphasized.
On the morning of June 6, the Russians detonated the dam of the Kahovka Hydroelectric Power Station. In addition to the dam, the Russian occupiers destroyed the turbines and generators of the Kahovka HPP. This entails losses of at least one billion dollars, not including the costs of restoring the dam and the flooded territories.
The water level in the Kahovka reservoir is rapidly decreasing at a rate of approximately 15 cm per hour.
The Kahovka HPP has been completely destroyed and cannot be restored. The destruction of the Kahovka HPP may have negative consequences for the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.
