Although Pope Francis has no immediate plans to visit Ukraine, the possibility of his arrival cannot be ruled out.

His Beatitude Sviatoslav, Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, said this in an interview with Radio Liberty.

“There are no plans to visit Ukraine as of yet, but Pope Francis sometimes likes to make surprises,” he said.

According to the Head of the UGCC, the Pontiff may announce a visit “a month before he decides to come to Ukraine.”
