The president conferred the Order of Merit, III degree, on the Head of the UGCC

Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed decree No. 274/2021 on awarding state awards to outstanding persons on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine. Among the awardees is the head of the UGCC, Patriarch Sviatoslav. The first hierarch of the UGCC was conferred the Order of Merit, III degree.

Zelensky conferred the Order of Merit, III degree, on the head of the Department of Bogomolets National Medical University (Kyiv) Oleksandr Volosovets, member of the Odessa Regional Association of Jews – former prisoners of ghettos and Nazi concentration camps Boriys Kofman; head of the restoration workshop of the National Reserve "Sofia of Kyiv" (Kyiv) Anatoly Ostapchuk, prosecutor of the unit of the Department of Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office under the Office of the Prosecutor General, Oleksiy Skibenko, head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (Kyiv) Svyatoslav (Shevchuk), consul of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Milan (Italy) Yevhen Shkvyra, state secretary of the Office of the President of the Republic of Poland – head of the Bureau for International Policy, Polish citizen Krzysztof Szczerski and others.
