The XXIII All-Ukrainian Quran Recitation Contest was held in Kyiv

On November 2 and 3, in Kyiv, the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine, “Ummah”, held the XXIII All-Ukrainian competition for knowledge of the Holy Quran.

Murat Suleymanov, the mufti of the RAMU “Ummah”, wrote about this on his Facebook page.

“After a break of two years caused by the great war, we decided to organize another competition with more than 50 participants,” he said.

The jury consisted of Sheikh Haider al-Hajj, head of the Ukrainian Association for the Study of the Quran, Sheikh Muhammad Mamutov, deputy mufti of the RAMU “Ummah”, and Sheikh Murat Suleymanov, the mufti of the RAMU “Ummah”.

This year's best Quranic reciters by heart were:

In the nomination “The Whole Quran”: I - Aisha Jawad, II - Veronika Lychkovska.
among the experts of half of the Quran (15 Juz'): I - Yara al-Najjar, II - Muslima Abdulmusayeva, III - Oksana Lychkovska.
Among those who have studied one-third of the Qur'an (10 Juz'): I - Jamal Abdulhamid, II - Rukia Uruzova.
in the nomination “5 Juz'” 1st group: I - Ahmad Abdulhamid, II - Muhammad Yusuf, III - Muslim Sidikov.
2nd group: I - Ibrahim Musayf, II - Muhammad Shamsuddinov, III - Ahmad Abu al-Rub.
in the nomination “2 Juz'” 1st group: I - Umar Khadr, II - Suleiman Shahid, III - Umar Berdimuradov.
2nd group: I - Yusuf Mamadzhanov, II - Solekh Ustaboyev, III - Abdullah Isakov.
