Bishop Yaroslav Pryriz of Sambir-Drohobych (UGCC) visited the parish of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Medvezha, Drohobych region, where the community has been praying for victory and a just peace for more than 1000 days.

On November 24, on the occasion of this event, Bishop Yaroslav Pryriz led the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in St. Nicholas Parish in a concelebration with the local UGCC clergy.
After the service, the parish community was awarded a diploma from Bishop Sambir-Drohobych “for conscious lay ministry and 1000 days of prayerful standing in support of the Ukrainian people and the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the large-scale Russian armed aggression.”
