Ukraine Ranks 150th in "World Giving Index"

Ukraine ranks 150th among 153 countries in the "World Giving Index" published on 8 September by the largest British charity organization Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).

Ukraine ranks 150th among 153 countries in the  "World Giving Index" published on 8 September by the largest British charity organization Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
Australia and New Zealand topped the "World Giving Index" Their rating is 57% according to CAF. The rating of Russia (which ranks 138th), Vietnam and Montenegro is 18%.  The last in the list are Ukraine, Burundi and Madagascar.

The study also measured two other types of charitable behaviour alongside giving money - volunteering time and helping a stranger. The "World Giving Index" combines the levels of each charitable behaviour to produce a ranking of the most charitable nations in the world.
 The study has found that happier people are more likely to give money to charity than those who are wealthy. More than half of the top twenty most charitable countries are developing countries, such as Guinea, Guiana, Turkmenistan.

According to Ukranews.com, Ukraine ranks joint 73rd among the happiest countries. It shares the position with Russia, Romania, Slovakia, South Africa and Lebanon. 21% of our people consider themselves happy, 26% unhappy and 53% struggle with life difficulties.
