The press service of Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovych published on March 29, 2010, the text of his greeting address to Jews.
“My sincere greetings on the occasion of Passover – one of the biggest holidays of the Jewish people. Passover establishes faith and multiplies the hope for the Creator’s mercy, symbolizes the spring, renewal of nature, expectation of something special and joyful. I wish you health, happiness, peace, and good. Merry and joyful holiday to you!” reads the address
