Ukrainian Ambassador in the Vatican discussed five important issues with the Ecumenical Patriarch

The Ukrainian Ambassador to the Vatican, Andriy Yurash, met with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and discussed a series of important issues with him.

Andriy Yurash wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"Our communication with Patriarch Bartholomew yesterday was brief. But even within the limited time frame, we managed to discuss at least five important issues: recent ecumenical initiatives, the activities of the Ukrainian Embassy, the recent visit of Metropolitan Emmanuel to Kyiv, the basic needs of the Ukrainian Orthodox community in Rome, and cooperation with the Italian metropolis of the Constantinople Patriarchate," he noted.

"As always, His Holiness impressed with his energy, clear position, sense of humor, and perfect knowledge of any details: Russian, excuse me, Putin's patriarchy has no chance in its opposition and desire to replace or undermine the influence of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and hinder the mission of Patriarch Bartholomew - the true and irreplaceable leader of the Orthodox world," added the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Vatican.
