Ukrainian chaplains pushed up together to support Ukrainian military

Ukrainian military chaplains of different denminations and religions have joined the world campaign “22 Push-ups challenge” in support of Ukrainian military – Fr Lubomyr Yavorsky, Deputy Head of the Department of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC of the Pastoral care for Armed Forces of Ukraine, said on his Facebook page.

After the ministers had pushed up 22 times, they passed the challenge to their colleagues - chaplains, priests, seminarians - from their denominations - UGCC, RCC, AUC ECB, the Union of Free Churches of Evangelical Christians, RAMU, Church of Evangelical Christians in Ukraine, UOC-MP.

During two weeks, Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy held a training for military chaplains of churches and religious organizations that are part of the Public Council of the Ministry of Defense.

24 ministers agreed to take a training, including the Christians - representatives of the Orthodox denominations, Greek and Roman Catholics, Evangelical Christians-Baptists, Pentecostals, evangelicals and imam chaplains.
