The League of Muslim Women of Ukraine and the NGO “Maryam” have initiate the International Women's Forum scheduled for April 7 in Kyiv. It is expected that its work will be based on three platforms: “Muslims in Education and Media” (time management, education, stereotypes), “Next Generation” (upbringing of children, healthy lifestyle, family relationships) and “Active Women - a pledge of success for communities” (self-realization, self-development, volunteering), Religion in Ukraine reports citing Islam.in.ua. More than two dozen Ukrainian and foreign female speakers will speak in front of the participants of the congress: - Olga Bogomolets, MP of Ukraine; - Nalan Dav, a representative of the world-famous IHH “Humanitarian Relief Foundation”, co-founder of the Pakistani NGO “Hubayba Foundation"”; - Sinan Ahmad, an active participant in international humanitarian and human development programs; - Tamila Tasheva, co-founder, coordinator of the CrimeanSOS public initiative, executive partner of UNHCR; - Gayana Yuksel, member of the presidium of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, head of the Crimean Tatar media development agency, director of the QHA news agency (Crimean News Agency), editor-in-chief of Radio Khayyat; - Natalia Tkachenko, lawyer, chairman of the League of Muslim Women of Moldova NGO; - Tetyana Evloyeva, journalist, public activist, volunteer, organizer of ecological actions and ZeroWaste initiative, blood donation campaigns within the framework of the project “Become a donor!”; - Anna Otman, manager, head of Kharkiv women's organization “Nadiya”, chairman of the League of Muslim Women of Ukraine; - Nayar Mamutova, teacher of English and foreign literature, activist, volunteer, head of public organization “Ana Yurt”; - Al Shadat Rul, venereologist, member of the Association of Arab Physicians in Ukraine, activist of the women's organization “Maryam”; - Vera Fridak, accountant, teacher, the first hafizah in Ukraine and many other well-known and active women who, successfully combine with motherhood their high achievements in professional and community activities. Coffee breaks and lunch are foreseen, and women who have no children to leave can trust their teachers at the capital's Islamic Cultural Center for the full time of the forum. During the event, an exhibition of handmade products of Ukrainian craftsmen will work. For participation you need to fill in the registration form by the link.
