Ukrainian Orthodox Brotherhood statement: Russian intervention is manifestation of anti-Christian and antihuman Policy of Putin

The Organizing Committee of the Ukrainian Orthodox Brotherhood “For a United Orthodox Church in Ukraine” has called on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate to pray daily for peace in Ukraine and to condemn Russia's intervention, which they consider is “an expression of the anti-Christian and antihuman policies against the Ukrainian nation and the world.”

Representatives of the brotherhood believe that as a result of the military occupation and “the incomprehensible to the Ukrainian Orthodox believers Moscow Patriarchate’s silence on the aggressor’s actions” a “crack” has formed between the faithful of the Orthodox Church in Russia and Ukraine.
