In connection with untrue information and gossip about the health of Metropolitan Volodymyr of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate, the press service of the primate of the UOC-MP informs that on September 16, Metropolitan Volodymyr injured his leg (femoral neck fracture).

On the same day he had a successful operation. During the period of rehabilitation, which is obligatory, the primate of the UOC will worship and pray in St. Nicholas Church and work and receive visitors at his residence at the Kyiv Cave Monastery.

"We call on all the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to pray for the health and quick recovery of Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kyiv and All Ukraine," reads the statement.
