Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate To Develop Ukrainian Liturgical Terminology

n 19 October, in the Kyivan Cave Monastery, an extended session of the Synodal Liturgical Committee of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate was held.

On October 19, in the Kyivan Cave Monastery, an extended session of the Synodal Liturgical Committee of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate was held under the chairmanship of Bishop Filaret of Nova Kakhovka and Henichesk.

The committee considered a work plan for the next year in light of the report of Metropolitan Volodymyr at the Jubilee Council of UOC.

The committee passed a proposal to address the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-MP with a request to set up within the committee a work team to deal with the issue of the Ukrainian-language liturgical terminology.

In addition a discussion on current questions was held, the website of the UOC-MP reported.
