09.07.2020, 08:43

After the Orthodox Church of Ukraine was created and the Tomos was granted thereto, discussions continue among individual experts, politicians, and ordinary citizens on the possible unification of the Orthodox Churches.

The KIIS survey offered the respondent options: Epifaniy and Onufriy (or the respondent could choose their option).

In this case, among all respondents, 25.6% choose Epifaniy, 12,2% – Onufriy. Another 1.2% gave a different answer, while the rest of the respondents could not or refused to answer the question.

You can also calculate the data for those who have made their choice. Thus, 65.7% choose Epifaniy, 31.4 % choose Onufriy.

KIIS conducted a survey from 24 to 30 June 2020 using the CATI method (computer-assisted telephone interviews, computer-assisted telephone interviews) based on a random sample of telephone numbers. The sample is representative of the adult population (aged 18+) of Ukraine. The samples do not include territories that are temporarily not controlled by the government of Ukraine - the Crimea, certain regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The survey included 2,000 interviews.

The statistical sampling error (with a probability of 0.95 and considering the design effect of 1.1) does not exceed: 2.4% for indicators close to 50%, 2.1% — for indicators close to 25%, 1.5% — for indicators close to 10%, 1.1% — for indicators close to 5%, 0.5% — for indicators close to 1%.
