Patriarch Filaret thanked the European Union for support and signing the Association Agreement. "We know that the European People's Party has consistently supported Ukraine in its course of European integrationand now supports us in our fight against aggression" - said the Patriarch. During the meeting, participants discussed current events, including the Russian aggression against Ukraine, church-state and inter-confessional relations in Ukraine. The parties agreed on further cooperation.
