31.01.2023, 11:00

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church (in unity with the Moscow Patriarchate) will resume communion with local churches, provided they refuse to recognize the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the UOC-MP DECR Archpriest Mykolai Danylevych on the YouTube channel Viche, the Information and Education Department of the UOC-MP reports.

"We broke off communion with those local churches for some specific reason [recognition of the OCU] if the reason is eliminated, then there will be a resumption of communication accordingly," Mykolai Danylevych answered the question when the communion with the local churches severed by UOC was planned to be resumed.
