UOC-MP has three new Hierarchs

The Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, which was held on December 6 on the territory of the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, adopted several personnel decisions.

According to the Information and Education Department of the UOC-MP, the participants of the Synod elected new bishops:

- Archimandrite Spyrydon (Romanov), a clergyman of the Diocese of Kyiv, was elected to the office of Bishop of Vishnevsky, vicar of the Kyiv Metropolis);

- A clergyman of the diocese of Luhansk, Archimandrite Pavlo (Valuysky) was elected to the office of Bishop of Belovodsk, Vicar of the Diocese of Luhansk;

- A clergyman of the Diocese of Chernigiv, Archimandrite Nykodym (Pustovgar) was elected to the office of Bishop of Lyubtsy.
