According to published data, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate has 53 dioceses and 114 (+6) hierarchs: 53 diocesan bishops, 54 Vicars, 7 at rest.
Such data was provided in the annual report by Metropolitan Anthony (Pakanich), Chancellor of the UOC-MP, Orthodox Life reports.
The number of synodal institutions is 26.
As a result of military operations and transitions to the OCU, which the Moscow Patriarchate calls seizures, the number of parishes of the UOC-MP has decreased. At the end of the reporting year, there are 12,148 of them (-233).
There are more monasteries – now there are 262 (+2) monasteries in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. They have 4,620 (-10) monks.
The number of clergy increased to 12,551 (+38).
Religious educational institutions are 18, as before. There were fewer full-time students in higher educational institutions of the UOC-MP: in 2021, there were 1,228 of them, and in 2022-1,154 (-74).
As reported, last year, the number of parishes of the UOC-MP was 12,38, which is 7 more than in 2020 (12,374).
