"Just to be honest, for a comfortable and safe existence, tell me who your boss is," - Reznikov.

"If you do not recognize Ukrainian jurisdiction, then you need to indicate who is your direct supervisor."

According to the draft law of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories "On state policy of the transition period", the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate will have to specify in official documents that it is a subsidiary of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development Oleksiy Reznikov said this in an interview LB.ua. He noted that the UOC-MP, like other religious structures, should be subject to Ukrainian laws.

"We believe that all religious communities should be regulated by Ukrainian law. It should be unified for everyone. If you do not recognize Ukrainian jurisdiction, you will need to indicate who your direct supervisor is. Just honestly, for a comfortable and safe existence, tell us who your boss is," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

At the same time, he emphasizes that the purpose of the bill is to prevent oppression in civil rights.

"Our task is to ensure that no one is oppressed in their right to freedom of religion. This right is guaranteed by our Constitution. It is your right to go to a particular church or synagogue," the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories said.
