The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision on the division of duties between the First Vice Prime Minister and Vice Prime Minister of the Government.
This is stated in Resolution 69 from March 12, 2014, the Institute for Religious Freedom reports.
Accordingly, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Sych will be responsible for relations between different nationalities, religious issues, and the protection of national minorities of Ukraine, as well the protection of public morality.
Among other things, the Vice Prime Minister will manage issues relating to humanitarian aid, the state language policy, and the following issues:
combating AIDS and other infectious diseases;
youth and sport;
health;
development of information society and information security;
development of relations with foreign Ukrainians;
education;
state supervision (control) of the activities of educational institutions;
culture and arts, cultural heritage, cinematography;
other issues.
