"In the morning I spoke with His Holiness Pope Francis about the search for peace for Ukraine, for our state, about the atrocities of the invaders, about humanitarian corridors to the encircled cities. I thanked His Holiness for his clear and strong position against the war and for his prayers for Ukraine. I invited him to visit our country at this most crucial time. I believe that we will be able to organize this important visit, which will definitely support each of us, every Ukrainian," the President said.

Pope Francis invited the bishops to unite with him in dedicating Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Holy Father will say a prayer for the liberation of Russia from the evil one in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican on the evening of March 25, together with clergy on all continents.
