Zelensky meets with Muslim religious leaders of Ukraine

Mufti Ismagilov said that the meeting lasted two hours.

“Volodymyr Zelensky let everyone take floor in turns. In my speech, I stressed the importance of the high religious rights and freedoms declared in the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, active Muslims ... Volodymyr Zelensky said that he aspires for the unity of Ukraine and the Ukrainian society, calls all to reconciliation, consolidation and hopes that religious leaders will contribute to this. He has also noted that it is necessary to attract foreign investors with investments in various branches of the economy, including from Muslim countries, and that Ukraine needs peace between believers of different religions. In general – I have a positive impression from the meeting,” Mufti Ismagilov wrote.
