Russia has damaged 740 religious buildings in Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement during the Constitution Day celebrations, according to Ukrinform.

"Ukraine's places of worship have been wounded and attacked by evil, riddled with Russian bullets, and shattered by GBUs and missiles. This includes both famous cathedrals in large cities and small churches in our villages — churches, mosques, and synagogues. In total, 740 religious buildings in Ukraine have been targeted by Putin. This is the reality of who we are fighting against and what our enemy represents," Zelensky stated.

He emphasized that on the night of June 15, the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and the Dormition Cathedral were added to the list of evidence showcasing Putin's "madness." This act further illustrates Russian aggression and serves as a testament to the unity of Ukrainians, which is their greatest strength.
