A delegation from the Scandinavian Episcopal Conference arrived in Kyiv for a two-day visit on May 9. The delegation includes His Eminence Cardinal Anders Arborelius and His Excellency Bishop Erik Varden. The visit of solidarity began with a meeting with the Head of the UGCC.

Today, the guests will visit towns near Kyiv that were destroyed by the Russian army during the spring invasion and occupation in 2022. The delegation will also become familiar with the activities of the Patriarchal foundation "Wise Cause".
In addition, within the framework of the visit, the bishops of the Scandinavian Episcopal Conference will serve the Liturgy in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Alexander. A meeting with the Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine, Larisa Galadza, is also planned.
