In the passports of Brazilian citizens, a newly adorned page now features Ukrainian Easter eggs (pysanky), as revealed by Svitlana Melnyk, the wife of Ukraine's ambassador to Brazil, Andriy Melnyk. Recent photos shared the new design of the Brazilian document.

This was reported by UNN.

"The Brazilian government has recently initiated the issuance of passports with a new design. One of its pages now proudly showcases our Ukrainian Pysanka," noted the diplomat's wife.

She also highlighted the presence of an inscription in the passport, alongside the depiction of the primary Ukrainian Easter symbol, which reads, "Pysanky: a folk craft of Ukrainians."

Svitlana Melnyk stressed that this symbolic gesture reflects Brazil's appreciation and acknowledgement of the undeniable contribution Ukrainians have made in shaping and enriching the unique cultural heritage of the largest country on the Latin American continent.
