A unique program for military personnel launched at Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

Defenders of Ukraine will have the opportunity to participate in a distinctive recovery program at the "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" reserve.

The details were unveiled on August 14 by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, as reported by "Meta".

Today, a presentation of the program took place, aimed at aiding servicemen to connect with the cultural and historical essence of the national monument to mend emotional wounds left by their time at the front.

The program is designed to assist them and their families in recovering after the trials of war, noted the Acting Minister of the Ministry, Rostyslav Karandieiev.

Military personnel will have the opportunity to stay within the reserve area of the sanctuary for 1 to 7 days. They will also have access to various excursions, religious practices, and cultural activities based on their preferences.

Through interactions with clergy, historians, art experts, and archaeologists, the soldiers can grasp how to overcome their experiences and transform them into post-traumatic growth.

The defenders will be shown the territories and sacred places and learn about the history of the site while being encouraged to participate in various events designed to have a positive impact on their psychological rehabilitation.
