After Three Years of Restoration ‘Golgotha’ Altar in Lviv to Be Blessed

“The 650th anniversary of the cathedral is not a date that cannot go unnoticed nor be met without preparation. In the morning we want to bless the altar ‘Golgotha,’ then hold a solemn liturgy. There will be a concert and celebration at the Opera House,” he said.

He said the celebration will begin on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Participants will include the representative of the Catholicos of All Armenians, Armenian communities in different cities of Ukraine. The celebration will also be attended by representatives from the Ministry of Culture of Poland, Polish parliamentarians, and representatives of the Armenian Heritage Foundation from Poland. These organizations helped to finance the restoration of the Armenian Cathedral in Lviv.
