On the occasion of the Day of Male and Female Defenders of Ukraine, the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations calls on all believers, regardless of their religious affiliation, to offer their prayers on October 14, 2021, for all those who defend peace in our state and protect our people from Russian aggression, at the cost of their health and lives.
As part of the solemn events of this day, prayer events will be held at 9:00 with the assistance of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which will be joined by military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including in the area of the Joint Forces operation.
"May God's blessing be with all those who defend Ukraine, seek peace and fight for the truth. In all churches and religious communities, we urge you to continue praying for peace in our state, for stopping the bloodshed, for restoring territorial integrity, for the victory of truth, for the establishment of justice and freedom," the AUCCRO appeals.
