Andrii Sybiha meets with Patriarch Bartholomew

During his working visit, the head of Ukraine's foreign ministry met with His All-Holiness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, according to THE PUBLIC.

During the meeting, the minister expressed his gratitude to the Patriarch for his continuous spiritual guidance and prayers for peace in Ukraine, as well as for the resilience of the Ukrainian people. Andrii Sybiha emphasized the importance of moral support from the Ecumenical Patriarchate amidst the ongoing aggression.

The Foreign Minister also mentioned the recent visit of a Ukrainian delegation to Istanbul, led by President Volodymyr Zelensky. He thanked His All-Holiness for the warm reception extended to the state leadership, which further confirmed the strong ties between Ukraine and the Mother Church.
