VATICAN-KYIV — The Apostolic See appointed Archbishop Ivan Jurkovic Envoy Extraordinary in the special mission of Pope Benedict XVI to participate on February 25 in the celebratory events for the inauguration of Viktor Yanukovych as the President of Ukraine.  RISU’s Ukrainian-language web site posted this story on February 23, 2010.

The Apostolic Nuncio will head the delegation, which also includes Fr. Vecheslav Tumir, Ph.D., the Second Secretary of the Apostolic Nunciature.
