Apostolic Visitator for Ukrainians in Italy Receives Letter of Commendation from Ukraine's Ambassador

Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Ukraine to Italy, Heorhii Cherniavskyi, on December 20 presented to the Apostolic Visitator for Ukrainian Greek Catholics in Italy and Spain, Bishop Dionisii Liakhovych, a Letter of Commendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Ukraine to Italy, Heorhii Cherniavskyi, on December 20 presented to the Apostolic Visitator for Ukrainian Greek Catholics in Italy and Spain, Bishop Dionisii Liakhovych, a Letter of Commendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.    

The letter was presented on th occasion of the 20th anniversary of independence of Ukraine.

“For many years of fruitful activity aimed to preserve the national and cultural identity and originality of Ukrainians, strengthening relations with Ukraine, establishing its positive image in the world,” reads the document, reported the press service of  UGCC in Italy.
