Archbishop of UOC-MP Conducts Excursion for Archivists of CIS Countries in Transcarpathian Region

On 30 May, In the Mukachiv Monastery, Archbishop Feodor (Mamsuiev) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate met with the heads of the Archives services of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus who came to Uzhhorod to participate in an international conference.

On 30 May, In the Mukachiv Monastery, Archbishop Feodor (Mamsuiev) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate met with the heads of the Archives services of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus who came to Uzhhorod to participate in an international conference.

Archbishop Feodor personally conducted an excursion for the visitors in the monastery.

As for the cooperation between the Mukachiv Eparchy of UOC-MP and the Transcarpathian Regional State Archives, according to the eparchy’s web site, in 2008-2012, quite a number of joint scholarly research articles and monographs about the Church life of the region and its Church and historic heritage appeared.

On 29-31 May, in Uzhhorod, an annual trilateral meeting of the heads of Archives services of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus is held.
