Bethlehem Light of Peace Comes to Lviv

On December 20, Lviv Plast members are to receive from their Polish colleagues the Bethlehem Light of Peace.

On December 20, Lviv Plast members are to receive from their Polish colleagues the Bethlehem Light of Peace. The official handover is to take place at 1 p.m. at the Rava-Ruska border crossing.  

At 4 p.m., it is to be passed to the Cathedral of St. George where it will be kept. On January 3, it will be passed to other cities. Before that, the fire will be transported to children’s homes, orphanages, boarding schools.

On January 3-6, the fire will be passed to all the churches of Lviv.

According to the representatives of the public organization Plast, the main purpose of passing the flame is to pass peace, light and good to each home, reported the press service of the Lviv City Council.
