Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparchy of the Holy Family in London requests clergy and faithful to pray for the health of the King of Great Britain, Charles III, who has been diagnosed with cancer.

This was reported by the Information Department of the UGCC.

"Dear brothers and sisters in Christ! I have sent a letter to His Majesty King Charles III, informing him that we will all keep him in our thoughts and prayers during this time as he battles cancer," the bishop's letter to the faithful of the London Eparchy reads.

Bishop Kenneth asked the priests of his eparchy to celebrate the Divine Liturgy for the health of the king in every parish.

Additionally, the hierarch announced that prayers for this intention would also take place at the Ukrainian Cathedral in London. "Those who are able, please join us in prayer on February 9, 2024, at 18:15 at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family in London, where we will serve the Moleben to the Most Holy Theotokos, so that our good Lord may grant His Majesty all the necessary graces for complete and speedy recovery," the hierarch announced.
