Bishop of UOC-MP Invited President of Russia to Attend Events to Celebrate 1025th Anniversary of Rus Baptism

On 1 February, before the opening of the hierarchical council of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Russian President Vladimir Putin received in the Kremlin the hierarchs of the Russian Church who were to participate in the council.

A bishop who was a member of the delegation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate invited the President of Russia to attend the celebratory events to be held on occasion of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus. President Putin answered: “But your President has not invited me!”
