Cabinet of Ministers Allocates 20 Million UAH to Kyiv Cave Monastery

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 20 million UAH from the state budget to the religious organization Kyiv Cave Monastery of the Holy Assumption for restoration and emergency works in the monastery in 2012.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated 20 million UAH from the state budget to the religious organization Kyiv Cave Monastery of the Holy Assumption for restoration and emergency works in the monastery in 2012.

The order of the Ministry of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Economy in this regard was posted by its web site.

According to the document, the monastery is to submit to the ministry for approval a list of objects and measures regarding engineering and slide prevention works in the monastery in 2012.

The monastery should also submit to the ministry a monthly report on the use of funds.

According to the state budget for 2012, the state program “Slide prevention  measures, engineering protection, emergency and restoration works in the territory of the Kyiv Cave Monastery” is financed from a special fund of 20 million UAH. So reported Іnterfax-Ukraine.
