Cabinet of Ministers Allocates UAH 5 Million for Repair Work in Kyiv Cave Monastery

The Cabinet of Ministers allocated to the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing Economy UAH 5,290,000 for emergency repair work in the Kyiv Cave Monastery.

The Cabinet of Ministers allocated to the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing Economy UAH 5,290,000 for emergency repair work in the Kyiv Cave Monastery, as stated by Instruction 892 of the Cabinet of Ministers of September 17.

Appropriate alterations in this regard were made to State Program 3511090 “State Capital Expenses Distributed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine” as the financing of the Ministry of Regional Construction was increased from UAH 650,300,000 to UAH 655,600,000, Ukrainian News reported.

Last June, the European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry granted to the Kyiv Cave Historic and Cultural Reserve a Certificate of the European Museum Standard with a quality mark.

The monastery is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
