On Christmas Eve, December 24, the Russians fired grads at the center of Kherson. At the same time, 2 shells flew into the Catholic Church, but they did not explode.
This is reported by CREDO with a link to the website of the RCC in Ukraine.
This was stated by Bishop Stanislav Shyrokoradyuk, the ordinary of the Diocese of Odesa-Simferopol, during the vigil Christmas Mass.
The hierarch recalled the shelling of Kherson that took place the day before, saying that he already has recorded various miraculous cases that are taking place today on our land.
"God rules. While someone fires, God controls that rocket," the Bishop said. "Many Catholics fast on bread and water every Friday for victory, for their soldiers. On Friday, there was a very strong shelling of Kherson. After that, our priest calls and says: Imagine, 2 rockets from Grads flew into the church. Everyone was in the church – people were doing some cleaning: children, women, two priests. We were preparing for Christmas and... none of these rockets exploded, leaving only holes in the roof. One fell and shattered into two pieces, while the other got stuck in the wall. None of them exploded. Isn't this a mercy from God? That is, if we pray and rely on God, God controls those missiles," Bishop Shyrokoradyuk stressed and encouraged us to trust the Lord.
Russian shelling on December 24 in Kherson killed 10 people and injured 55.
