RISU’s Ukrainian-language website posted this story on June 11.

The instruction in this regard was signed by the deputy head of the regional administration, Andrii Flissak, as a way to try to solve the conflict between two Orthodox communities, the UOC-KP and Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP).

According to 20 Minute news agency 20minut.ua, the church is to be passed to the faithful by June 13 but the community is to sign an agreement on the protection of the monument with the Department of City Development and Architecture of the regional administration. A new brick church, which is not an architectural monument, is left to the UOC-MP.
