According to the director of the Center, Mykhailo Bero, it was attended by the leading experts in psychotherapy and medical psychology and representatives of the clergy of Donetsk and Mariupol Eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church-Moscow Patriarchate.

According to experts, this is especially important in the treatment of stress, conflicts and industrial injuries.

“The church was never indifferent to the spiritual and physical condition of its parishioners. Therefore, the Medical and Psychological Center of Donetsk always paid much attention to the spiritual component of psychiatry, psychology and psychotherapy. The doctors and priests will continue to work in close tandem here,” said Bero.

With the blessing of Metropolitan Ilarion of Donetsk and Mariupol, a Church Community of St. Kosma and Damian was established in the center and a chapel was established by the patients and personnel, reports.
