On 16 April, plenary sessions of the Conference of Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church of Ukraine began in Berdychiv.

On 16 April, plenary sessions of the Conference of Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church of Ukraine began in Berdychiv, reported the Catholic Media Center.

The session started with a prayer near the Icon of the Mother of God of Berdychiv and a liturgy led by Archbishop Mieczyslav Mokrzhytski.

On 17 April, the participants of the Conference of Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church of Ukraine met with representative of the Catholic Order of the Knights of Columbus.

The bishops also passed a decision to address their faithful in a pastoral letter on the 70th anniversary of Volyn tragedy to be read out on 30 June.
