The construction of a new church on the foundation of the Tithe Church is being designed secretly, stated Vice President of the National Association of Architects, Heorhii Dukhovychnyi, reported Comments.ua.
“It began a long time ago. The Association of Architects received information that contrary to the results of the tender, which was held last year without the publication of the final results, designing work is being intensively carried out for the construction on the foundation of the Tithe Church. The designing is being executed by an organization, which took no part in the tender at all,” noted Dukhovnychyi.
Oleksandr Bryhynets, head of the Committee on Tourism and Culture of the Kyiv City Council, commented that one can expect the beginning of the construction any time after the election.
