Council of Churches calls participants of protests and the state authorities to keep peace

Participants in the protests, which are held in recent days in Ukraine should maintain the peaceful manner of their actions.

This emphasized members  ofthe All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations - heads of Ukrainian Churches and religious organisations on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.

According to the religious leaders in any case there should be no violence, because remember that violence begets violence .
 
Also Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations encourages state representatives to ensure the right of citizens to peaceful expression of their beliefs.
 
"Law enforcement agencies need to protect public order and promote the constitutional right to peaceful assembly and expression of positions," - said Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.
 
The radicalization of the protests can only harm people and national interests of Ukrain . In a civilized society, which is the Ukraine, we must learn to express different views on social issues in a peaceful manner and through dialogue, noted members of the Council of Churches.
 
All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and religious organizations urged all believers to pray for the peace in Ukraine, wisdom for government leaders and good future for Ukrainian society.
