Council of Evangelical Protestant Churches of Ukraine meets with Ukrainian ambassador and pastors of Ukrainian diaspora in Poland

On September 24, 2025, a delegation from the Council of Evangelical Protestant Churches of Ukraine (CEPCU) held a meeting in Warsaw with pastors from the evangelical churches of the Ukrainian diaspora in Poland. They were also joined by Vasyl Bodnar, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland.

Pastors from evangelical churches in Poland shared with the CEPCU delegation the activities of Ukrainian diaspora religious communities since the onset of full-scale Russian aggression. They discussed their collaboration with Polish churches, as well as the lives, challenges, and opportunities faced by Ukrainian refugees. The participants emphasized the necessity of coordinating joint efforts to support Ukrainian refugees in Poland.

At the conclusion of their visit to Warsaw, the CEPCU delegation, along with pastors of Ukrainian evangelical churches in Poland, met with Vasyl Bodnar, Ukraine's ambassador to Poland. Ambassador Bodnar spoke to the attendees about key aspects of Ukrainian-Polish relations and highlighted the significance of strengthening ties between the embassy and Ukrainian churches.
