The position of the deputy General Director of the Kyiv Cave National Historic and Cultural Reserve on matters of international cooperation, which is currently held by Vlada Prokaieva, has been made redundant, the new General Director of the reserve, Lubomyr Mykhailyna, said in a commentary to UNIAN.

Prokaieva earlier stated that she allegedly passed a 50 thousand dollar bribe for the position to the ex-General Director V. Lisnycha for the Minister of Culture, Mykhailo Kulyniak. On August 9 Lisnycha was dismissed from her post and after that, L. Mykhailyna was appointed to the post.

Mykhailyna assured the correspondent of UNIAN that the position was made redundant because of structural chages in the reserve and not to get rid of Prokaieva.
