"Do not lose heart and do not give up!" - Primate of the OCU addressed the Ukrainians - фото 1
The sixth month of a full-scale war brings fear, anxiety, loss, change and uncertainty about the future. Therefore, fatigue is quite understandable, primarily psychological and moral exhaustion and the decline of spiritual forces. But I want to warn you that they are very dangerous and can serve the insidious plans of the devil. To defeat the enemy, we must be strong.

With these words, the Primate of the OCU appealed to the Ukrainians.

He urged: "Do not lose heart and do not give up! For if you succumb to spiritual fatigue, then its "fruits" will be depression, hopelessness, sadness, despondency, cooling, stale heart, despair. And this is exactly what our enemy needs to defeat us. Now is not the time to quarrel, get angry and, as a result, lose our cohesion. Because it is in unity and mutual support that the strength of our people lies.

If you feel spiritually exhausted, support your spirit with prayer. This is the best healing balm for the soul. The Lord gave us the opportunity to renew and gain strength. And the union with God in prayer and the sacrament of Holy Communion contributes to spiritual renewal. Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, through the prayers of your Mother Most Pure and all the Saints, have mercy on us! Great and One God, save Ukraine for us!"
