Donetsk militants agree to put on exchange lists religious scholar Ihor Kozlovskyy
The Ukrainian side has completed the procedure for verification of persons to be pardoned for the release of hostages, but who refuse to move to separate areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The other side, instead, continues delay and still requires clarification on some names.
Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine representative Iryna Gerashchenko wrote about it on her Facebook page.
She said the militants agreed to put on exchange lists a famous religious expert, Ihor Kozlovskyy, but the date of his release was not agreed on.
“It is important that all parties recognize that Ukraine has completed hard work and demonstrated compromise, progress, which brings us closer to the release of hostages. Another side has finally promised in the format of trilateral contact group that when negotiating the final lists Ihor Kozlovskyy will be included. The only question is when the other party stops inventing flimsy reasons for the delay and we agree on the date of release,” Gerashchenko said.
