Ecumenical Patriarch presents Panagia to UGCC Bishop

The Ecumenical Patriarch presented the Panagia to Bishop Stepan Sus, Chairman of the Pastoral and Migration Department of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC.

Bishop Stepan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

Patriarch Bartholomew and Bishop Stepan sus took part in the Conference on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue held in Vilnius in the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania.

"It was a pleasure to receive a valuable gift from Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I - a Panagia (a medallion depicting the Blessed Virgin Mary with the child Jesus) for those who travel a lot!" said Bishop Stepan Sus.

The head of the Pastoral and Migration Department of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC also had the opportunity to talk with Ingrid Šimonite, the Prime Minister of Lithuania.

 

"I expressed gratitude for the tireless support for Ukraine!" The bishop emphasized.
